Am I the only one who blinked and suddenly found himself in the month of August?
It feels like only yesterday, we had our year-end party at Happy Rolph’s. And yet much of this summer has passed by in a flash of brilliance. It’s hard to believe school is only a few weeks away.
Of course, with a new year comes new excitements, and what better way to prepare than to anticipate great things?
You’ve probably noticed by now the blog looks a bit different. In the background is a watermark of our new logo, a possible hint at our new website that will be up soon. Not to worry, we’ll be sure to announce it with trumpets once it’s ready.
Inside the school, tables and chairs have been painted, new flooring set down in some of the classrooms. Teachers are starting to wrap their brains around the approaching end of their much-needed summer break, and have begun to organize themselves accordingly.
Returning students will soon head back to the world of discovery. New students will be introduced to the vast potential that is their lives. We plan to greet them with open arms and with a sincere desire to equip them with all the life-skills to succeed in the world – not just as intelligent human beings, but as caring, compassionate, active members of the community around them.
